The Sector Intelligence Brief provides regular sector updates. Four analytical engagements support specific business decisions. Management may need to choose between options, assess exposure in a country, understand the actors involved in a project or test a plan as conditions change.

  2. Executive Risk Brief

    Analytical updates on leadership decisions

    When it is useful

When leadership must follow a decision exposed to rapid change and receive updated assessments to adjust the company's response.

    What is delivered

Concise, regular briefs keep leadership's assessment current: new facts, business implications, alternatives and outstanding checks.

    Scope

The engagement defines which decisions to follow, how often leadership is updated and for how long. Each brief separates new facts from open questions; financial effects are estimated only where adequate data exist.

  3. Country Threat Assessment

Assessment of current and prospective geographies

    When it is useful

When sites, supplies or expansion plans involve several geographies and the business needs a comparable view of the risk each poses.

    What is delivered

An assessment built with State Reach's own method, drawing on established country-risk approaches. The dashboard shows comparable values, risk drivers and implications for current or planned operations.

    Scope

The engagement defines the countries and areas to examine, the activities concerned, the period and the update schedule. The summary value is accompanied by the factors behind it and their implications for the business.

  4. Stakeholder Dossier

From stakeholder mapping to support during engagement

    When it is useful

When the business needs to understand the roles and interests of the actors involved, choose how to engage each one and retain analytical support throughout the process.

    What is delivered

A map of actors and an engagement plan, with briefings on the relevant parties. Support continues during the engagement with updated material and assessments.

    Scope

The engagement specifies how far State Reach supports the business: strategy, preparation of contacts and updated briefings during the engagement.

  5. Geopolitical Stress Test

Testing the plan against geopolitical scenarios

    When it is useful

When an investment or operating programme depends on external conditions that may change and alternative responses need to be prepared.

    What is delivered

An assessment of adverse scenarios applied to the plan, their effect on the activities concerned and a comparison of available responses.

    Scope

The engagement defines the scenarios, time horizon and activities to examine. Financial estimates require adequate company data; scenarios describe possible conditions, not certain outcomes.

An engagement defined around the decision.

The enquiry sets out the context and decision. The proposal specifies the service, scope and deliverable.
